Devon A. Fitzpatrick, LSW

After a decade of darkness living with mental health and substance use challenges, Devon uses the Life Flow Principles to enjoy newfound freedom in the fullness of sobriety, mental wellness, and thriving relationships.

During his undergrad as a non-traditional BSW student, Devon helped scale the Workforce Development program at Cherry Street Mission in Toledo, OH. Here, he discovered the unique strengths of neurodiversity on the other side of healing. His tenacity, creativity, and passion led to three promotions in three years before earning his LSW and entering work as a Mental Health Contractor.

During this time, Devon wrote his first book, Getting Started in Sobriety, and made speaking appearances at Team Recovery, Vital Health, Empowered for Excellence, and The Human Library.

Devon is currently a therapist with Wildwood Counseling Services, specializing in dual diagnosis recovery and couples counseling. Always eager to serve in the community, Devon is an operating consultant for up-and-coming community mental health agencies, Here’s My Turning Point and Stepping Stones Behavioral Health, while finishing his MSW at the University of Toledo–Go Rockets!

Beyond all this, Devon is devoted to living his faith, loving his wife, Mae, and two young children, Ezra and Vivia, while continuing to grow the abundant life of recovery.
